Local Author & Publisher Celebrates International Recognition and Amazon Bestseller Status
BREA, CA – Brea Chamber of Commerce member and Business Leaders Connect participant Kathleen Troy, PhD, JD, author and founder of D&F Publishing, is celebrating a season of milestones with her award-winning children’s and young adult books.
Kathleen’s beloved Dylan’s Dog Squad series recently earned international recognition when Dylan’s Dilemma received both the Golden Wizard Book Prize and the Literary Titan Book Award. The series, which blends mystery, friendship, and dog-filled adventures, has been praised by readers worldwide for encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and courage in young readers.
Adding to the excitement, the latest book in the series, Dylan’s Millions, climbed the charts to become an Amazon Bestseller in Kids’ Camping Books.
Kathleen is also the author of the Never Believe young adult mystery series. Never Believe a Lie Twice (winner of the Literary Titan Book Award and Readers' Choice Bronze Award) introduces teens to thrilling, character-driven stories about truth, deception, and belonging.
Through Dylan and Friends Publishing Company, Kathleen champions stories that inspire imagination and foster a lifelong love of reading. Her books have been enjoyed in schools, libraries, and family homes across the U.S. and abroad.
