You are invited to join the Brea community as we pay tribute to all military heroes, veterans, retired and active duty, and to honor those Breans who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Visit the Brea War Memorial, located at the Brea Civic and Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle.

Throughout Brea’s history, men and women of Brea have proudly served their country in the military. The United States entered World War I in April 1917, just two months after the City of Brea was incorporated on February 23. Since then, Breans have served in peace time and during war to protect America’s Freedom’s. Sadly, some of those soldiers never returned home to Brea. To honor the people of Brea who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and recognize all veterans, the Brea City Council dedicated the Brea War Memorial November 11, 2012.
