About Joseph Covey
Joseph Covey is a 26-year homeowner in Brea. As a graduate of California State University Fullerton, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts Education with a minor in Theater Management. He also earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts Studies at Fullerton College. For 30 years, he has made his career with the Walt Disney Company, Parks and Resorts in Anaheim as the Area Manager of Operations in the field of Entertainment. You might say he is largely responsible for creating the magic daily at the Disneyland Resort.
As a manager in operations Joseph spends a lot of time serving those he works with and brings his zest for life and high energy to those around him. As an avid listener, he works hard to take care of those he serves and puts others needs before his own. His compassion for others and joyful energy is appreciated by many who are thankful for the work he does for his team.
When not at work, Joseph dedicates his time to the community serving as planning commissioner for the City of Brea and is an active Brea Rotarian. Joseph just finished his tenure as president for 2022-2023 and continues to be an active Rotarian. Joseph’s hobbies include spending time with his husband and sons by going to the movies, attending musical theater productions and traveling. He also is a huge advocate for personal development and dedicates his time to continuing his education on self-improvement.
The Brea Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leaders Connect is a luncheon series designed to feature local and regional business leaders to provide learning opportunities for the broader business community. The series highlights Brea’s and the region’s most prominent leaders and provides a platform for these executives to share a brief cross-section of their expertise and business insights.
