Orange County Transportation Authority to host annual Measure M Public Hearing

The Measure M Taxpayers Oversight Committee is conducting the 21st Annual Measure M Public Hearing. Public comments will be taken about the implementation of Measure M during the past year. If you would like your voice to be heard about implementation of the program, please attend or provide feedback online.

Measure M is an Orange County voter approved 20-year program for transportation improvements funded by a half-cent sales tax. Measure M allocates all sales tax revenues to specific Orange County transportation improvement projects in three major areas-freeways, streets and roads, and transit. Measure M was originally approved in 1990, in 2006, voters approved the extension of the tax for another 30 years.

The Measure M Taxpayers Oversight Committee (TOC), reviews OCTA's administration of Measure M every year to make sure both the spirit and the letter of Measure M is fulfilled.

Public Hearing to be Held:
Monday, January 30, 2012
6:00 p.m.
OCTA Headquarters
