The Brea Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Salute to Education, a month long celebration of lifelong learning. This event is designed to showcase the benefits of lifelong learning, highlight the tremendous educational opportunities our community has to offer, and to unite the efforts of the business community and local educational institutions in support of the next generation workforce.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Fair Overview
The Chamber is presenting the 2012 STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Math) Fair to emphasize the skills needed for employees to excel in an increasingly technology-based business environment. This event is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend and see the exciting displays provided by the youth of Brea.
Student Entry
Students are encouraged to pick a project within Science, Technology, Engineering or Math that interests them most. Projects that are experiments or demonstrations are strongly encouraged. Students can share what they have learned using simple display format, no reports are required.
Students must preregister to participate in the STEM Fair. Entry Forms must be received by the Brea Chamber of Commerce office by 5 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Entries received after this time will not be included in the 2012 STEM Fair.
Scholarships will be awarded for winning projects as follows:
1st place $500
2nd place $250
3rd place $100
